The Shadow
Running for an amazing 24 years, The Shadow is probably the best known old-time radio series. Staring Orson Welles, and later Bill Johnstone, the Shadow had the 'power to cloud men's minds'. Doesn't sound like much, but with the help of girlfriend Margo Lane, he managed to foil the schemes of assorted ciminals, mad scientists, and other foes. Unlike many other radio heroes, his enemies often wound up dead.
