C S Lewis
Clive Staples Lewis(1898-1963) was one of the 20th century's most famous Christian apologists. He was a Professor of Medieval and Renaissance English Literature at Oxford and Cambridge Universities. Originally an atheist, he joined the Church Of England in 1931, after a long talk with friend JRR Tolkein. He is best known for his books "Mere Christianity", "The Problem of Pain", and the "Chronicles Of Narnia" series. He died on Nov. 22, 1963, the same day as John F Kennedy.
